Della Adventure Park
Della Adventure & Resorts Pvt. Ltd. owns and operates Della Resorts, India’s largest extreme adventure luxury resort. It offers 163 luxury rooms and signature villas amidst the scenic hills of Lonavala. The places to stay include Della Luxury Resorts, Della Adventure Resorts, Camp Della Resorts and Resort Villa Rooms. Della Resorts provides unique 24 hour services at Della Spa, Salon, Swimming Pool, Fitness Centre, Mini Mart, Business Centre with all modern amenities and fine dining experience making it one of the best resorts in Lonavala.

Challenges Faced:

The Head Office is based out of Mumbai and is equipped with a fully equipped PBX system. When the project at Lonavla was initiated, there was a necessity to install a fully functional telephone exchange at Lonavla that should also be equipped to handle Resort reservations, Call monitoring facilities, Customer care facilities, etc. They had desired that the HO in Mumbai be also a part of the network.

The overall solution desired was to also add on some video phones to permit remote users to speak and observe the activities at Lonavla. The task was difficult due to the need to lay cables in the adventure park in hilly terrain.


The entire Adventure site was covered using a set of networked PBX’s equipped with Video phones and also capable of handling reservations and customer issues. The Ho was also connected in the network using a MPLS WAN network – so as to keep all users in a common network. Remote administration facilities were extended to the Mumbai Head Office to permit easy operation. Executives needing to work in Mumbai and Lonavla locations, away from their desk were given DECT phones for easy facilitation of conversation.


Della Adventure park now operates as a monolithic organization with reservations ability from any of the locations. It is easy to reach mobile executives even if they are not at their desks. Business loss on account of non availability of executives has been reduced. Service for the hospitality business has shown a large upturn due to immediate response to customer issues. The solution is capable of scaling up modularly with growth of the business.
